Publicly advertised Dubai offers include Reel editing from AED 550 using your footage and filming plus editing from AED 1,500 for a Reel. These are examples from a small sample of offers reviewed in September 2026, not market-wide averages. A monthly production package has a different buying price and can spread the production cost across several finished videos.

The first question is what needs to happen before you receive the finished Reel: editing existing material, filming something new, or organising a presenter and production together.

What the advertised prices buy

One published AED 550 editing offer covers a finished Reel using client-supplied footage, with no shoot included. The same rate card lists a single filmed Reel from AED 1,500, including up to two hours at one location, a hook and shot list, and a vertical cutdown. Published Reel editing and filming prices.

Another Dubai provider lists shooting from AED 1,000 per Reel and shooting with editing from AED 1,500. The lower figure therefore does not buy the finished edited video. Published shoot-only and edited-Reel rates.

Use these as examples of different purchases. A price for editing your footage is not a complete production budget if you still need someone to record it. Equally, hiring a crew makes little sense when you already have suitable footage and only need the edit.

Lunasol's actor-led Reels prices

Lunasol offers monthly studio production packages with an English- or Arabic-speaking actor, filming and editing included. The business owner does not need to appear on camera.

Monthly package Finished Reels per month Monthly production fee Calculated average per included Reel
Reels 5 5 AED 2,000 AED 400
Reels 15 15 AED 5,000 Approximately AED 333
Reels 30 30 AED 8,500 Approximately AED 283

The last column divides the monthly package fee by the included Reel count, rounded to the nearest dirham. It is not a standalone Reel price. For example, the approximately AED 283 figure requires purchasing the AED 8,500 monthly package; it does not mean one Reel can be ordered for AED 283. Individual extra Reels are not sold separately within these packages.

These are actor-led studio Reels of up to 60 seconds, with subtitles and basic branding. They suit businesses that want a presenter to explain services, answer useful questions or deliver agreed messages without coordinating separate actor, studio and editing bookings. Explore Lunasol's video production options.

The base packages use client-supplied, recording-ready scripts; scriptwriting can be added separately. Agree any extra language versions and the intended use when confirming the brief. The base production scope covers organic use on the client's own social channels. Paid advertising usage rights and publishing are outside these production prices. Confirm the final total, including applicable VAT and required additions, in the quote.

When a lower package average is useful

A lower average helps when you need, can approve and can use the included quantity. It does not automatically make the larger package the better purchase.

For example, moving from five Reels at AED 2,000 to fifteen at AED 5,000 reduces the calculated package average, but increases the monthly production fee by AED 3,000. That additional spending needs a purpose: more useful topics, product explanations or other suitable content that the business will actually use.

Choose the package around the required finished Reels. A lower displayed cost per Reel is useful only if the extra output serves your business.

Also avoid dividing a mixed package containing photography, long-form videos or account management solely by its Reel count. That calculation assigns the entire fee to one type of output and hides the other work you are buying.

Editing your footage versus commissioning a shoot

An editing-only service can be appropriate when your business already has usable recordings. Before accepting the price, send representative footage and explain the intended result.

A usable source should contain the action or explanation the Reel needs. An editor cannot create a missing product demonstration simply by shortening a longer clip. Poorly recorded speech may also require a new recording rather than more effects.

You do not necessarily need a spokesperson. Product details, a service being performed, a venue walkthrough or other relevant footage can support a Reel. The decision should follow what viewers need to see or understand.

If new filming is required, describe the actual setting. Recording one product at a prepared location is different from coordinating several premises, people and demonstrations, even when both finished videos are short.

What changes the price of a finished Reel?

The idea and the material needed to deliver it

“Make a Reel about our business” leaves much of the work undefined. A clearer brief identifies the subject, what the viewer should understand, the important facts and the action to take afterwards.

Establish whether the quoted service includes developing the idea and writing the script, or whether you will provide recording-ready material. Approve prices, claims and other business details before filming so the recorded explanation matches the actual offer.

Who appears and where filming happens

A presenter-led studio Reel can work well for an explanation. If the purpose is to show a specific product, treatment setting, showroom or service process, the production also needs appropriate evidence of that subject.

For Dubai location filming, agree who handles the filming-permit arrangement, private-location no-objection certificate and related fees under DFTC guidance. Specify who will make products, staff or demonstration areas available. Do not assume a studio package includes an additional location shoot.

The edit and the number of versions

One finished Reel, several alternative openings and a separate language version are different deliverables. State what you need to receive rather than relying on the word “video”.

Agree the desired editing style with relevant examples. A straightforward presenter edit and a sequence requiring substantial graphics, compositing or extensive footage selection involve different work.

Also distinguish a new concept from a cutdown or alternate export. Those versions can be valuable, but they do not necessarily represent separately planned and filmed Reels.

Language and advertising use

Specify the language requirements of the finished material, including spoken delivery, on-screen information and subtitles. An English- or Arabic-speaking actor option does not automatically include both versions of the performance.

If the Reel will be used in paid advertising, say so before production. Confirm that the agreed use of the actor's performance, music and any third-party material covers the campaign. A finished organic Reel should not be assumed to include all advertising rights.

Changes after recording

Ask what happens when feedback changes the agreed message or requires new footage. An editing revision and a reshoot are different pieces of work.

Consolidate feedback before sending it to the production team. This makes the requested changes clearer and helps avoid paying for repeated work caused by conflicting instructions.

Judge value by the Reel you can publish

A useful Reel has the footage, explanation, readable information and agreed usage needed for its purpose. Extra effects or a larger output count do not compensate for a missing demonstration or an inaccurate offer.

For an edit-only purchase, check that the footage can support the result. For a filmed Reel, check that the recording and final edit are both covered. For an actor-led package, check the actual package fee, included quantity and suitability of the format.

If a regular presenter-led series fits the brief, compare Lunasol's Reels production options against the number of videos you can put to use. Choose the required monthly output first, then check the full fee and any additions; the lowest package average should not make that decision for you.
