A monthly video content package brings together an agreed amount of recurring video production. Depending on the package, that can cover ideas, scripts, filming, presenters, editing and delivery of finished videos. Publishing may be included, but receiving files that are ready to post does not mean someone will post them for you.

The most useful distinction is what you are guaranteed to receive. Some Dubai offers specify a number of finished videos; others provide production and editing hours, with the output depending on what you make. Neither arrangement is automatically better. You need to know whether you are buying completed content, production capacity or both.

A good scope also makes your team's contribution clear before the first recording session.

What the package should spell out

Use this as a guide to the scope, rather than a list of services every provider automatically includes.

Part of the package What should be specified What it means for your business
Finished videos Number, maximum length, original recordings, cutdowns and versions You can see whether the output matches the content you need.
Preparation Ideas, scripts, shot list and who approves the message You know whether to supply finished scripts or commission writing.
Recording Sessions, hours, studio or location, equipment and presenter You know who and what must be available on the filming date.
Editing Style, subtitles, branding, sound, graphics and export formats You can judge what the finished videos will look like.
Review and delivery Feedback process, changes covered and delivery dates Your team can plan approvals and publication.
Files and usage Final exports, raw footage, project files and permitted uses You know what you receive and where you can use it.
Publishing Uploading, post copy, scheduling and any reporting There is a named person responsible after production ends.

An editing package can be enough if your team supplies usable footage. A filmed package should explain how that footage will be created. A package that includes an actor can remove the need for a business owner to present, but it still needs accurate information about the business.

Count finished videos separately from recording time

A four-hour studio session describes time booked. It does not, by itself, promise a particular number of finished videos. Equally, a package promising a fixed video count should explain the recording allowance and the type of production that count covers.

Keep three kinds of output distinct:

  • Original video: a standalone piece built around its own message.
  • Cutdown: an excerpt or shorter edit made from a longer recording.
  • Version: an adaptation of existing content, such as another language, aspect ratio or ending.

All three can be useful. They simply answer different needs.

For example, two original videos exported in both vertical and square formats produce four files. They still contain two original messages. That is an illustrative counting example, not a recommended monthly volume.

If your goal is to answer several different customer questions, ask for those topics to be represented in the agreed output. Extra file versions will not answer a question that was never recorded.

Establish who prepares the content

“Planning included” can mean choosing subjects and arranging a shoot. It does not necessarily mean researching the business, writing every script and checking every claim.

Decide who turns an idea into recording-ready material. For a presenter-led video, that means the words to be spoken. For a product demonstration, it may mean a shot list, demonstration sequence and the details that must appear on screen.

Your business should supply accurate service information, current offers, brand assets and any product or location access needed. Choose someone who can approve the facts before recording. The production team can then work from a clear brief instead of discovering missing details in the edit.

An actor removes the need to perform on camera; they do not replace your business knowledge.

Define the Dubai shoot and language requirements

Studio filming and filming at your business solve different problems. A studio can suit a presenter explaining a service. Showing a restaurant's dishes, a showroom or work being carried out requires access to those subjects or suitable existing footage.

For an on-location shoot, establish who arranges access and prepares the space. The package should state who handles the required Dubai filming-permit arrangement, private-location approval and related fees under DFTC guidance. Ask whether moving between locations, setting up equipment and recording all fall within the booked hours. Avoid planning a full session of speaking segments around a location that will be noisy or unavailable.

Language also needs a production decision. An English-speaking or Arabic-speaking presenter is not the same deliverable as two separately recorded language versions. Specify the spoken language, on-screen text and subtitles, including who approves each version.

If you need both studio explanations and footage from your premises, include both in the brief. Neither should be assumed from the phrase “monthly video package”.

Understand what editing and revisions cover

The editing scope should describe the result in plain terms. Does it cover cuts, basic colour and sound treatment, subtitles and branding? Are you expecting animated diagrams, product graphics or a more elaborate visual treatment?

There is also a practical difference between subtitles inside the video and the caption written underneath a social media post. Request both if you need both.

Agree how feedback is collected and what a revision round covers. Correcting an on-screen label is a different task from changing an approved offer after the presenter has recorded it. Some changes can be handled in the edit; others may require another recording session.

Set dates for scripts or footage, first drafts, consolidated feedback and final delivery. If content supports a launch or a time-limited offer, work backwards from the date it must be ready to use. A monthly allowance alone does not tell you whether those videos will arrive in time.

Know what happens after the edit

Ask for the delivery format you actually need, and distinguish final videos from raw footage and editable project files. These are different deliverables. Receiving a finished export does not tell you whether the original recordings or editing project are part of the package.

Usage is a separate question. Tell the provider if you intend to use the videos in paid campaigns, on your website or elsewhere beyond the agreed social channels. The agreed rights should cover the intended use of the presenter, music and other material in the video.

Publishing also needs an owner. A production-only service can finish at file delivery, while another package may include uploading and channel support. Do not leave that handover to an assumption.

Paid campaign management and advertising spend should be identified separately from making the creative. A video can be produced for an advertising brief without the production package including campaign setup or media budget.

What Lunasol's actor-led Reels packages include

Lunasol's actor-led Reels packages combine a presenter, studio filming and editing through one team. The presenter records in English or Arabic, so your business can create spoken video content without asking the owner to appear on camera.

The finished Reels are up to 60 seconds and include subtitles and basic branding. The base packages use client-supplied, recording-ready scripts; scriptwriting can be added separately.

These packages include organic use on your business's own social channels. Paid advertising usage rights, raw footage, posting and social media management are outside that production scope. Filming at your Dubai location can be added separately, with venue and permit costs excluded from that add-on.

If your brief also requires social account management or Meta advertising, Lunasol can provide those as separately commissioned services.

Explore Lunasol's video production packages to match the format to your business and decide which preparation or distribution support you need alongside it.

A simple test for a complete monthly handover

Before treating the month's production as finished, ask whether the person using the videos can answer these questions without chasing the production team:

  1. Which files are the approved final versions?
  2. Are the agreed topics, lengths, languages and formats all present?
  3. Are the names, offers, subtitles and calls to action correct?
  4. Is each video's intended use covered, including paid use where agreed?
  5. Who will publish it, and is any separately agreed post copy ready?

That is a more useful finish line than “the shoot happened”. The package should leave you with content you can actually use and a clear next step.

Use that handover test when defining your monthly video production scope with Lunasol. Agree the finished content, your team’s inputs and the work after delivery before the first session is booked.
