Choose an SEO agency in Dubai by checking what it has actually improved, who will work on your website and how agreed changes will get published. A convincing agency should explain a relevant example, separate organic-search evidence from other marketing results, and show how its people will work with yours.

Do not choose on a ranking promise, a client-logo wall or the length of an audit alone. The agency you want is the one that can make sensible decisions about your business, deliver the work and explain what happened afterwards.

Start with a business problem, not a request for rankings

Give each shortlisted agency the same short brief: your important services, real locations, target customers, required languages and the website problem you want to solve.

“We want suitable enquiries for office fit-outs in Dubai” gives a more useful starting point than “We want more traffic.” Explain which projects you can fulfil, which enquiries are unsuitable and who currently maintains the website.

Notice what the agency asks next. Does it want to understand your offer, margins and sales process? Does it ask about the pages customers use and the changes your team can approve? These questions reveal whether the discussion is about your business or a pre-written package presentation.

Check what the agency's evidence actually proves

Ask for work relevant to your situation, not necessarily an identical business. A service company with a difficult CMS may benefit more from evidence of successful implementation than a famous retail logo with no explanation attached.

Establish who produced the example. Work delivered by the current agency, a team member's work in a previous role and a sample exercise are all useful in different ways. They should not be presented as the same thing.

Evidence shown What to ask next What it does not establish on its own
A traffic-growth chart Which channel, pages, countries and dates does it cover? That SEO caused the growth or reached suitable customers
An improved ranking For which query, location and period, and on which page? That the search generated valuable enquiries
More enquiries or revenue How was the source measured, and what else changed? That the agency's SEO work produced the whole increase

Ask to separate organic search from paid campaigns. Within search traffic, distinguish people already looking for the brand from people discovering a service. Neither is worthless, but they answer different questions.

Google Search Console can break down search performance by queries, pages and countries. That makes it useful for checking whether a broad growth claim relates to the business's intended audience. Google's introduction to Search Console.

You do not need access to another client's private account. Redacted examples, a walkthrough shared with permission or a reference conversation can provide useful evidence without exposing personal or commercial information.

Walk through one actual SEO change

Ask the person who would lead your work to explain one specific change from a previous project. A focused discussion can reveal more than another slide of headline results.

Use this sequence:

  1. What did you notice? Ask for the page or problem, not just “the site needed SEO.”
  2. Why did you choose that work first? Listen for a reason connected to customers, the website or a practical obstacle.
  3. What changed, and who changed it? Identify the agency's contribution, the client's contribution and any developer's role.
  4. When did it go live? Separate the date of a recommendation from the date the website changed.
  5. What happened afterwards? Ask what the data showed, what remained uncertain and what they decided to do next.

A thoughtful answer does not need to claim that one edit caused every subsequent gain. It should make the agency's judgement and contribution understandable.

If the salesperson cannot answer, ask to meet the delivery lead. The point is to understand the team you are hiring, not to catch someone out.

Meet the people responsible for delivery

Find out who sets priorities, writes or reviews content, makes website changes and explains performance. One person may cover several responsibilities; the important thing is that the responsibility is clear.

Ask who will be your regular contact and how specialist questions reach the person doing the work. Establish whether delivery involves employees, external specialists or your existing developer. None of those arrangements is automatically better, but you should understand the arrangement being sold.

Then discuss a normal operational problem. For example: your website developer is rebuilding a service-page template while SEO work is underway. Who checks which existing content must be retained, coordinates any URL changes, approves the release and investigates a problem afterwards?

You are testing coordination and judgement, not asking for a free migration plan. An agency that only sends instructions needs a capable implementer on your side. An agency offering implementation should explain where its responsibility ends.

Ask what the agency expects to investigate, deliver, publish and review during roughly the first 90 days. Which steps depend on your input or developer? You are looking for a practical starting plan that can adapt to findings, not a promise to reach a particular ranking by day 90.

Test Dubai knowledge through the work

A Dubai address is less informative than a practical explanation of how the agency will represent your business accurately.

Ask how it would handle your actual branches versus areas you travel to, the local information needed for service pages, and the person who approves that information. If English and Arabic are required, ask who writes and reviews each version, and whether both are included in the proposed work.

For a regulated service, identify who in your business must approve professional or promotional claims before publication. A confident writer still needs accurate information and the appropriate business approval.

The useful local test is whether the agency can translate how you operate in the UAE into accurate pages and a workable approval process. Repeating neighbourhood names is not enough.

Ask how the agency handles risky shortcuts

Reject a guaranteed first-place ranking. Google explicitly warns that nobody can guarantee the number-one position and recommends read-only Search Console access during a pre-hire audit. Google's advice on hiring an SEO.

Ask how the agency uses AI for research or content production, who verifies the output, and what original information or expertise it adds before publication. AI use itself is not the red flag. Producing large amounts of low-value content primarily to manipulate rankings is. Google's scaled-content policy.

For outreach, ask which mentions are earned editorial coverage and which placements are paid or sponsored. Require paid placements to be identified in the proposal and reporting rather than presented as earned coverage. Buying links to manipulate rankings breaches Google's policies; legitimate advertising and sponsorship links should be appropriately qualified. A large link count does not demonstrate a sound method. Google's link-spam policy.

You do not need a technical debate about every tactic. You do need an explanation that makes sense and does not depend on secret relationships or guaranteed access to Google's results.

Agree how decisions and access will be handled

Before appointing the agency, make sure you can answer four questions:

  • Who approves important website and content changes?
  • What will the regular report explain about completed work, search response and suitable enquiries?
  • Who controls the domain, website and relevant Google accounts?
  • What happens to permissions, commissioned work and unfinished tasks when the relationship ends?

Keep business accounts under business control, with appropriate access for the agency. Agree handover arrangements in writing rather than assuming they will be straightforward later.

A sample report is useful, but ask the agency to explain a decision it would make from it. A dashboard full of numbers is less valuable if nobody can say what should happen next.

When Lunasol is a strong fit

Lunasol is particularly relevant when your business needs SEO priorities, content, local-search work and website improvements coordinated through one team.

The programme is scoped around the website, content and locations that need attention. Technical monitoring and straightforward CMS implementation can be commissioned alongside the SEO work. Larger website design or development is separately scoped, so responsibilities are clear before delivery starts.

The service also includes reporting and regular review, keeping the conversation connected to delivered work and next priorities. That is a practical advantage if you do not want to spend your time passing recommendations between an SEO supplier, a writer and a website provider.

If AI-search visibility matters to your decision, ask what GEO/AEO work is included and what needs a separate scope. Lunasol offers GEO and AEO services separately from its SEO programme.

Choose the team you can hold accountable

Your final choice should be the agency that can demonstrate relevant judgement, identify the people doing the work and make implementation understandable. Price matters, but first establish what kind of team you are buying and whether it can work effectively with your business.

Talk to Lunasol about your SEO priorities. Share your website, the services you want to grow and any website or approval constraints. We can discuss a defined SEO programme and the support needed to turn its priorities into published improvements.
